K2 blog: 2 long days
--
My heart has been taking a roller coaster ride during these 2 days.

After an exhausting sofa hunting trip from Sears Outlet, I found my digicam missing late in the evening. Although I phoned the furniture department, they did not find any thing after a quick search. As I was feeling depressed, something worse happened. I found myself bleeding as I went to the washroom. My heart plumbed. This has never happened before during my first pregnancy. After a brief discussion with Dada, we brought sleeping together to the ER in Grand River Hospital.

It took me five hours to my turn for doctor's examination. Dada and Kitten had to go home around midnight because they both were exhausted and there was no point waiting there with me. As I went home by cab, it was nearly 4 in the morning.

To get a complete diagnose, I must go to the hospital again for ultrasound and then wait for final report. Until then, although my blood test and doctor's initial examination looked normal, even the doctor was not sure if K2 was safe.

At this moment, my lost of camera has completely our of my mind.

This morning, the nurse called me at 7 to postpone my ultrasound check because of her double booking. So I have to call the department to have a new appointment in the afternoon. Well, the good thing is, I can go back to sleep in the morning and dada was very nice to keep Kitten happy and busy all the way.

"I have seen 4 women like you today." The person at ultrasound told me. She tried to comfort me that this is not uncommon. As we hoped, K2's image turned up on the screen active and healthy. Later, the doctor in ER conclude that this is probably just a small incident and I should allow myself a few days for the remaining pinkish discharge to go away.

After I returned home and told dada this good news, dada also told me that the Sears people called and said the camera was found. I am really glad my roller coaster ride land safely.

We've been busy
--
It takes a lot of work to live in a house. A lot more then we apartment people can think. I guess this just a curve for we starters. Kitten's been well but fell down from stairs twice (just 2 levels) and got a big bump on her forhead. After that, we have installed a safty gate on our second floor. If necessary, we'll install another on the first floor, too.

Waterloo
--
We are now in Waterloo and has been unpacking for 2 days. Kitten's happy running around. She also like to sit in front of her stereo and listen to songs while we are busy.

Heat Wave
--
IT'S SO HOT these 2 days....Kitten wears diapers only when she's at home. In additions, she has 2 baths each day, one at noon and one in the evening. The special thing is - Dada starts to join Kitten bath. Dada volunteered to wash her yesterday noon while I was resting and he did both bath with Kitten today. " It was fun taking bath with Kitten." I am glad he likes it.

Kittens had a tug of war over a toy bus. I should stop it, I know, but I was filming...my bad.

We made our last visit to Ottawa before moving to Waterloo. This is Kittens' first meeting since they both can walk. Caroline doesn's need to drag Kitten anymore and they loved each other when they first met. Kitten even tried to hug and kiss Caroline! (Before it was poking on the face.)

Now see who's crawling...

That's 20 kg....

Sleep through
--
It has been 3 nights that Kitten can sleep through the night with asking for milk. Precisely, Kitten still wakes up 2 or 3 times but can go back to sleep very quickly as soon as I let her rub my tummy. Then after getting up around 8 in the morning, she can finish up 1 1/2 cups of milk real fast. My baby girl is growing up, yay!!

Boston II
--
This post is dedicated to
Yi-Chi, her husband and sons for their hospitality during our stay in Boston.

My Boston impression was mostly around Yi-Chi's place because that's where we stayed the most during our visit. Honestly, I think it's the best place for a pregnant mom with a little child. On our first day, Yi-chi took us to Children's museum in downtown and on the second day, we had library visit and home-made lobster feast. Most important of all, I could crash whenever I felt exhausted and food supply was always plenty. For Kitten, she sometimes followed two elder boys around and sometimes played with their toys. We all believe she was the one that had the most fun. Thanks a lot. Yi-chi and families.

July 30 - Aug. 3. We first went to have a final look of our new house in Waterloo then fly to Boston via Pearson Airport the next day.

We were very happy with the way our place look this time. After all, it is our second time looking at it since our last visit in June and my mind were overwhelming with images and ideas about housing and Waterloo. But this time, we walked through every room and tried to picture how we're going to live in it. All in all, it seemed that we have very little work to do on the new house, perhaps just carpet washing and cleaning.

The next day before we went to the Airport, dada found our ticket missing and suspect that he might have left them at home in Kingston. Still, we drove to the airport early in the morning to find out which airline we are taking first because dada did not remember that either. We visited 2 terminals to find out which airline we're going to take. Then to have a new ticket issued, we must drive to our travel agent's branch in Missisauga because they are student-rated tickets and must be purchased in original seller. Finally when we were boarded, it was 1:30 P.M. already and dada has not have any liquid and solid since 6 in the morning.

It only took us an hour and 15 minutes to fly to Boston, which is a really good thing cause we three were all starved. However, dada had to attend a conference so we must wait till 5:30 before we have any formal meal. Our plan of little touring and selecting soon over ruled by our own hunger and the heat of down Boston. We rushed into a pizza restaurant, Uno, I remembered, for kid-sized pizza and steak. They are good, fortunately. Since dada was so hungry, he bought a sub after dinner and finished it around mid-night. "I feel as if I was a street dog that day." dada said again and again as he recalled this day.
