Let it snow let it snow let it snow

We have snow earlier since October this year. When we were in Kingston, it usually snowed around/after Christmas or in late November last year. What's more, this morning, we just had one of the most beautiful snow scene from the wet snow during our sleep last night. Before we left for music class, Kitten and I played for a while outside and enjoy the beautiful scene.

I visited Dr. Halmo for regular check today. A good thing that I know is that I did not gain as much weight as I thought. After all, I still have more than 10 weeks to go. Besides, as I was playing with the rotating chart, I learned that I had stepped in the third trimester since week 24. Well, no wonder I am feeling heavier and heavier recently. I asked Dr. Halmo about the feeling of pressure against my lower abdominal area after some walking or standing. He said it's quite normal since this is my second pregnancy and my muscles has been stretched since last time. That's good to know, too. Most important of all, tigger's position seems right and heart beat is normal. That's the best thing to know. :-)

Kitten had dumplings with left over Dim Sum from lunch. It was Kitten's first time using fork and it went pretty well. I think they are just ready to use some tools with little efforts when they are old enough.

I took Kitten to Dr. Deen's clinic yesterday afternoon. After examination, Dr. Deen told me that it may be just a bad cold. There's no signs of ear infection and antibiotics is not necessary. "Just lots of fluid and rest." We'll do.

Kitten's been having fever for 2 days. This is the 3rd time she have a cold during the past 6 weeks. This one almost starts right after the end of the second one. I think I am just too careless because I was busy driving her around looking for paintings and ink remover. Seeing her struggling with fever, running nose and coughs makes me feel really really sorry.

Kitten's recent most favorite book. This book has no word but pictures. It's about things a expecting family do. Kitten loves it when I make up stories with sound effects. Quite often you can see her carry this book to me and wanting me to read it with her. She call this book "babyah".

Meal TimeMonday, November 04, 2002

Meal Time is not an easy time for us because you never know if Kitten has good appetite or not today. This evening, Kitten refuse to eat during the supper time. Evening with Dada's holding and trying. Kitten only have few spoon of soup and wouldn't touch her rice at all. We could not feel good seeing lots of begging and head shaking during this suppose-to-be fun time. Therefore, we proceeded to our routine of dancing and taking baths. It's almost one and half hours after finishing these things and I asked Kitten again, "Shall we have our meal?" And now she repeat "have meal" after me and wanting to go down stairs. This time, with little help, Kitten finished her rice, had lots of soup, ate some apple and drank all her milk. So we know, she was probably not hungry during our supper time today.

Recently, Kitten starts wanting to do things by herself. She's been successfully put on her shoes, although on the opposite feet for couple of times. Now she also want to put on her pants by herself. Interesting, she put her leg into the wrong side again and end up having both legs in one side. Still, she kept trying and trying for over 10 minutes. Pretty soon she will succeed, I believe.
