Tigger crawls
--
More then one meter. He crawled to me in the kitchen yesterday afternoon when I was preparing dinner. Although he seems to forgot this ability when he's frustrated or angry, I am expecting him to be able to move around in a week or two. I think Kitten and Tigger will have more fun then.

Mama Stays
--
I was told that Kitten tends to move around or sit elsewhere during the circle time. Lisa told me a few parents are there and Kitten may want me there, too. So I asked Kitten about this issue one night after dinner.
Mama: Do you still well with others during circle time?

Kitten: No.
Mama: Why not?
Kitten: Mama Stays.
Since then, I tried to go to her room around 11:00 when the circle time begins. Once I even had Tigger with me because he needs me then. It turned out very nice. Although Kitten's not fully participated and wanted to be cuddled sometimes, I think it's nice to spend this fun time together. It reminds me my old days when I took her to different play groups or Mother Goose programs when I was in Kingston.

Poor Tigger
--
It's been three nights in a row that Tigger threw up in his crib shortly after being put down at night. At first, I thought maybe I did not burp well, although he doesn't need to be burped for a long time. Then I decide to cut off the feeding before sleep. That did not work as well. He cried so hard that he threw up again this evening and again late around mid-night after feeding. Before he fell asleep, he coughed for quite a while. Is that a cold again? But I don't recall hearing him cough much in the day. This is so weird.

Mama, Jessie.
--
A new big soap and a small soap.
A big toy fire engine and small red lego car.
While spotting big object accompanying with little similar ones, Kitten always refer them to her and me. How sweet. :-)

Moving on
--
Tigger can spin around using his hands, he can also push him self forward a bit with random movements of his legs. Although he still got pretty frustrate after laying on his tummy for too long, I think he has *moved on* quite a bit compare to last week.

An encouraging story
--
This morning, I was whining about how I spent 2/3 of the night sleeping on the rocking chair with Tigger. One staff in the infant room shared her case with me: Before she stopped breast feeding her twins, she sometimes had to get up ten times to feed her babies. In comparison, I think my nights are still easy, although I do miss my cozy bed a lot.

It's interesting to see how Kitten imagine things
--
(Kitten hold an imaginary car with both hands)
Kitten: A little car for you.
Mama: Thank you.
(I put the car aside and put down my book on top of it)
Kitten: Hey! Don't crush my car!

Tigger's second fever
--
Right. Just a week after. We spent our Sunday, Monday and Tuesday at home because Tigger's having a fever and it last more than a day. Besides, his cold symptons are coming back. Finally when the fever were gone and I discovered the tip of Tigger's 7th teeth. Hum... I guess this must be one of the reason for his *low fever for the past few days. All in all, he's fine. Dr. Deen also said so after checking him up on Tuesday afternoon. Now what we have to do is to get his flu away.

No pictures?
--
I do have a few pictures to post. But we've been incredibly busy with our changing life. I promise to bring up some soon. Especially our Halloween ones.

The Early Years Center and Our Place Family Resource Center
--
This is where I am writing from. Both Tigger and Kitten are in their own room now and I just thought it's a great opportunity for me to make up some posts. The computer in the resource library seems to be pretty fast. Hum... let me check, it is a Athlon 1800+, which makes it pretty fast for web-browsing. So, blogging, re-organize my workshop note and prepare a short article for the new letter. I think I am gonna have very nice busy morning.

Tigger's First Fever
--
11:00 p.m... A regular Tigger-feeding time. However, this time I found him HOT and Red. I tried to give him Tempra, but he threw up right after I gave him the whole dose. Same thing happened the other day when I tried to give him Infant Tylenol. I guess he's just like Kitten that won't take any drop at this age. Although I still have the rectal Tylenol but I am not sure if the dose is right because it says consult physician for children under two years of age. I decided to go to the drug store but unfortunate both PharmaPlus and Shopper's Drug Mart weren't open at 11:30 (I thought they open 24 hours, at least in Kingston?). Eventually I decided to call TeleHealth Ontario and seek advice from the public nurse. Surprisingly, I was told I should give Tigger one and half tablets because he's 22 pounds now (But it says one for children 2-4 on the box). I decided not to follow his advise but feel it safe to give Tigger one tablet. A while later, his fever was gone. He played a while and finally went to sleep at 2 a.m...
