In Kitten's imaginary play yesterday afternoon, she spoke English all over.
The way she speak English, is to use self-created words to links words she (think she) knows into sentences. Such as "blah blah blah, children." or "blah blah come back, ok?"
I have seen this before, around the time Kitten was 1.5 years old when she was imitating us speaking Chinese. In her mind, speaking is making string of sounds. To make it sounded real, she throws in a few words she knew. Seeing her playing the same trick again with a second language, it is really interesting.

Tigger starts to wave bye bye by turning his palm. It was soooo cute and made mama and dada very happy. I think I should teach him to kiss.
By the way, he no longer crawls around with his tummy on the floor.

Taken on Wednesday in his room in EYC. It's the same as the one I took for him before Christmas. That means, he's gaining his weight back before the flu. Keep growing, my little man.

The Flu
--
During the Xmas-New year holidays, we screened our contacts and limited our activities to avoid flu. Unfortunately Kitten still got the flu at last day and Tigger was down the day after. They both have fever over 2 days and our winter break was extended another 7 days. I still remember the panic of no-knowing-what-to-do time during the two week and hoping the school can start soon. However, with Kitten and Tigger getting sick, the day doesn't seem to be so long anymore. Not that I want them to be sick, but I learnt that it's a blessing that kids are all healthy and happy.
