Kitten and Tigger took turn pose for picture taking during the snack time after nap.

Maintianance
--
I just did a bit of maintainance of the mainpage of this website. I took out some dead links and repositioned archive section. One major work ahead is re-upload pictures I posted before January 2004 because they are all gone due to change of image storage place.

We three had a good day. We had fun morning buying toys and books from neighborhood sales followed by visiting the Waterloo EYC. Later in the afternoon, we found animated Chicka-chicka Boom Boom on DVD at Blockbuster for only 99C/week. Since both Kitten and Tigger love this book, now we have it almost everywhere (a book, a CD-rom and now a DVD).

Weekdays @ Waterloo Park
--

We've went to Waterloo park two times during this week. It seems like the most ideal place for us. Kids get to walk about, feed rabbits, and have fun at differnt play grounds. I really really love this place. Posted by Hello

Sunday morning @ Waterloo Park
--
These photo were suppose to be posted on Sunday. But since we had Tigger's tongue accident. I did not had time to process them until today. The park is a great place to go, especially now both Kitten and Tigger can enjoy watching animals and playing at the playground. We'll definitely go again, soon.

We are at the front parking lot @ waterloo park. We brought our wegon, a camera, and a bag of lettuce. We are so well prepared so this is gonna be fun. Posted by Hello

Tigger got his own tongue
--
It happened on Sunday afternoon on the big slide in the playground. Tigger tripped while trying to move on to an upper level. His chin hit on the metal floor then his upper teeth his on his tongue - hard. I ran up to the slide after seeing blood dripping from his mouth.

A mom at the playground quickly gave me Kleenex and a bottle of water to clean up Tigger's mouth. Then I could see where the wound is in Tigger's mouth. I saw a cut at the center of his tongue, but I cannot saw it clearly.

We have to end our play time early again now that Tigger has his mouth full of blood (A weeks ago, we have to go home early after Tigger put a batch of sand into his eye). Shortly after arriving home, I gave Tigger a cup of milk but then the sucking triggered the blood flow again. I had to call Dada to come home and the Telehealth Ontario to see what to do.

The nurse at Telehealth Ontario advised me to take Tigger to emergency room now that the urgent care clinics in town are closed. So I headed for Grand River hospital right after Dada got home. "Kitten is all mine", said Dada.

We waited nearly three and a half hours for a doctor to check on Tigger. During our waiting period, Tigger actually played a lot. He walked around, played with all buttons and all toys he could see.

The doctor decided to put a few stitches on Tigger's tongue because the wound was long and deep. "He almost bit through." Said the doctor.

Tigger had two shots of anaesthesia, and they did not work as expected. He was supposed to be able to cooperate completely. But instead, he still mourned and tried to close his mouth while feeling things in his mouth. After trying a few times, the doctor decided not to do the stitches. "Normally people would but knock out in minutes after the medicine started working but not for him. He is a tough little guy." the doctor commented. As to the wound, it will heal, he assured, but it will just take a little bit longer time. We went home around 1 a.m..

On Monday morning, I started giving Tigger Advil to ease his pain and antibiotic to prevent from infection. He had a hard time drinking cold milk but wanted the rice noodles that I had for lunch. Later, we went to the super market to buy a bunch of yogurt and popsicle. Tigger had 3 cups of yogurt at one time but turned his head away from the grape-flavoured popsicle (Kitten enjoyed both, by the way). "He must be really hungry." A mom in the kitchen with me said.

Back home, I decided to warm his milk a bit and add some chocolate syrup. This time, he had it without a problem.

Now, it's the third day since Tigger got his own tongue. I brought him back to the Early Year Center and now he is playing by himself in the junior toddler's room. Everything looks fine. And I hope it still will be from now on.

Tigger's vocab
--
Vroom vroom : car(s)
Ba has several meanings:
1. Daddy
2. Bye bye
3. hug/hold me up
This is very similar to Kitten when she was this little
Ma : Mostly when he's not happy
Che-ga, Na-ga: This and that
Also a sound for shoes. He loves to bring a show over and ask me to put it on.
