After sitting/walking/driving/fooling around for days cooking teaching ideas in my head for my grade 1 kids in my second practicum, finally I think I have something forming in my head.

In short, using *flash animated stories!

I think I am going to use them and extend them in Science, Math and Language Art time. This afternoon, I am going to put my ideas together.

Looking back the use of computer ever since I am in the field of education, suddenly I found my years can be characterized by my exploration of different media:

Stage 1: Teaching in Taiwan: WWW, e-mail.
Stage 2: Studying in OISE: Filemaker, MOO (instant messaging, webpage creation)
Stage 3: Raising my own kids: Blog, Digital imaging (motion and still) and audio processing
Stage 4: Teacher's college (again, right): Powerpoint (Practicum 1); Flash movies (Practicum 2);

I still use all the media nowadays. To me, the matter is when and how to make the best of each single medium at different learning situation for different people.

I am so happy to see what I have done are coming together. Most important of all, who knows what I will do next? Well, I guess I should focus on using this flash thingy well in the coming two weeks then I shall have better answer to myself.
